It's a been a five (and nearly another half) year roller coaster ride (with this last admittedly being one big down slope), everyone, but due to the unstoppable force of life moving on, The Cypress Club is closing its doors. We want to thank each and every one of you who's stuck around to see what this little group of writers could come up with. All of us have come out the end of this tunnel better off for the challenges we pitted ourselves against and the learning experiences that came from taking them on. Were it not for you, our audience ready to read the outcomes of these, it's doubtful we would have made it as far as we did.
This closing unfortunately leaves many arcs of the series unfinished and for this we sincerely apologize. However, when the inspiration is no longer there or moved to focus on something else entirely, we feel it is in the best interest of all to put an end to it and lay the twitching corpse to rest. Perhaps eventually, though, some of us may complete an unfinished arc or two regardless of the universe proper being brought to an end. Anything is possible.
For those curious, the site will remain open for the time being.
